Introduction

Hello! I’m Cristopher, a teenager that enjoys everyday listening to Beethoven’s music and reading about his life. I’ve decided to share facts and my impressions of his life and music by means of this blog.
My love for Beethoven probably began at the age of 7, my first contact with music (precisely, with the piano). I heard one of his works (the piano sonata Op. 27/2) and since then I was captivated by his music. Immediately, my parents noticed that Beethoven was ‘my composer’. I wanted to play his works on the piano but they were very difficult to me at that time. So, I just listened to his beautiful music.
Now that I play the piano much better than before, I’m working on his piano works.
I really love him. I regard him as the history’s greatest genius.
Many people, when they hear ‘Beethoven’, one of the first things that comes to their mind is ‘the deaf musician’, or in best of cases, one of his well known works. But Beethoven was much more than that.
I have read a lot about Beethoven. There are interesting things as well as false and even insulting ones. Obviously, I’ll recover the reliable things and I’ll deny the false.
In this blog we’ll discover many interesting facts about his music and life and I’ll share my impressions of various matters. It’s a personal trip. If you want to come with me, you’re invited.
